Small Appliances

It seems like small appliances keep changing all of the time. When the microwave oven first came out, it was almost as big as the regular oven. But as technology has changed, the microwave has shrunk. I prefer to base my small appliances purchases on necessity rather than looks. My toaster oven makes toast, reheats leftovers and can cook small meals such as hamburgers or hot dogs. With a small appliance like that, I don’t need the boutique hamburger maker and I don’t need to buy a separate toaster. Buying my small appliances based on necessity also helps me to conserve valuable counter space.
